Technical SEO is the work that lets search engines find, understand and trust your website. You can have excellent content and still rank poorly if the technical foundation is broken.

Crawlability and indexing

Search engines must be able to reach your pages (crawl) and store them (index). Common blockers include a robots.txt that blocks important pages, accidental noindex tags, broken internal links and missing sitemaps.

Site speed and Core Web Vitals

Google measures loading, interactivity and visual stability. Heavy images, render-blocking scripts and slow hosting all hurt. Faster sites also convert better, so this pays off twice.

Mobile experience

Google primarily uses the mobile version of your site. Text must be readable, buttons tappable and content identical to desktop.

Site structure and URLs

A clear hierarchy with sensible, clean URLs helps crawlers and visitors. Duplicate URLs should point to one preferred version using canonical tags.

Security

HTTPS is expected. Mixed content warnings or expired certificates damage trust immediately.

Structured data

Schema markup describes your content to search engines and can qualify pages for rich results such as FAQs and reviews.

How to check yours

Start with Google Search Console: look at the indexing report, Core Web Vitals and any manual actions. Then crawl the site with an SEO crawler to find broken links, redirect chains and duplicate titles. Our technical SEO service and process cover the full checklist.
